Additionally, this extract can be blended with other pyrogallol tanning materials, resulting in leather of superior tannage.

Nu-Tan MB Powder is Myrobalan extract, know for its highacidity and low salt content. This hydrolysable or pyrogallol type tanninsare highly astringent with excellent light fastness. This spray driedpowder is highly soluble in water and provides a protective coating against oxidation when exposed to sunlight. The MB powder imparts a uniform light greenish-yellow hue to leathers along with fullness, plumpness and firmness. Itcan also be blended to promote the fixation of condensed tannins, resulting in a mellowing effect.
